A 1mm smooth steel snare drum produces a sound that is bright, cutting, and highly resonant, with significant presence and "attitude" that helps it project through a mix. The thin 1mm shell contributes to a focused brightness and long-range projection.
This Dixon Gregg Bissonette 1mm smooth steel snare drum is known for its loud, penetrating accuracy and a powerful, "gunshot-like" pop, making it a reliable and present workhorse for many musical styles.
